On Sunday 2 December, the unique auction of this remarkable private collection of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti wines, composed of 1363 bottles, 158 magnums and 3 jeroboams, reached CHF 11,6M. This auction, dedicated solely to wines of the Domaine, becomes the second biggest wine auction held in Europe, thus endorsing Baghera/wines’ status as leading European wine auction house with a global total amount sold of CHF 46,5M in 2018.

The auction held by Baghera/wines at the Beau-Rivage Hotel in Geneva on Sunday March 1, concluded with a result of CHF 5,8 million (5,5 million euros). Lot 123, representing a bottle that is absolutely impossible to find on the market, aroused a great deal of interest due to its rarity, and its achieved price at CHF 216’000 represents a world record for a 1979 Romanée-Conti methuselah.

Baghera/wines sells 2020’s most expensive wine. The "Kingdoms" sale garners chf 3.6 million, with 100% of lots sold, bringing Baghera/wines’ annual total for 2020 to over chf 10 million. The Pinchiorri collection top lot, an assortment of six large-format 6l bottles with n°1 labels from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti’s 1985 vintage goes under the hammer at a stunning chf 900,000. These results confirm the appetite of wine collectors around the world and their confidence in Baghera/wines' expertise.

Baghera/wines celebrates la Romanée. La “Romanée memories 1862-2005” auction, the ultimate collection from the Bouchard Père & Fils historic cellars, realises chf 9.6 million with 100% of lots sold, doubling its pre-sale high estimate. The auction’s star-lot comprising a set of 12 bottles La Romanée 1865, fetches close to chf 2 million. The results of the first Baghera/wines sale in 2021 confirm the strength of Baghera/wines' reputation and expertise, as well as the enthusiasm on the part of collectors and connoisseurs.
MARCH 4, 2023 | KIPLING LIVESTREAMED SALE
Baghera/wines achieves the most important Chartreuse auction in history. A total of chf 1.5M with 100% of lots sold. This internationally acclaimed sale broke all records by becoming the largest Chartreuse liqueur auction in history, with many online bidders and a total of 648 lots on offer. Live-streamed from Club 1865 by Baghera/wines in Geneva, the online auction achieved CHF 1’517’697, therefore increasing by more than half its pre-sale estimate.
