On December 2018, the unique auction of this admirable private collection of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti wines, composed of 1363 bottles, 158 magnums and 3 jeroboams, reached CHF 11,6 million ($12 million). Held by Baghera/wines, this sale, dedicated solely to a remarkable collection built by a couple of collectors, enlightened wine-enthusiasts and unconditional lovers of great burgundy wines, became the second biggest wine auction held in Europe.

The auction held by Baghera/wines at the Beau-Rivage Hotel in Geneva on Sunday March 1, concluded with a result of CHF 5,8 million (5,5 million euros). Lot 123, representing a bottle that is absolutely impossible to find on the market, aroused a great deal of interest due to its rarity, and its achieved price at CHF 216’000 represents a world record for a 1979 Romanée-Conti methuselah.
