These wines were vinified by Henri Jayer, who at the time was in charge of the Méo-Camuzet family’s Richebourg parcels under a "métayage" (sharecropping arrangement). Henri made the wines in his own cellar, before delivering the family’s share to Jean-Nicolas’s father; the "élevage" (aging) was then completed in Méo-Camuzet’s cellars. These wines were intended for occasional sales, but above all for the family’s own consumption. These wines have a perfect provenance and impeccable storage conditions sourced directly from the Domaine.
