Condition

Liqueur produced at the Saint-Pierre en Chartreuse monastery, most likely from 1853. Believed to be "Jaune" (labels and paper dot are still slightly yellow despite very faded with time).Handblown bottle with shoulder seal moulded in relief. The bottle appears as if treated like hammered glass. Damaged wax capsule still present all aroung the neck of the bottle. Good yellow paper dot. Good healthy cork, in place. Bin-soiled, damaged and slightly torn label. Double 'Garnier' signature Garnier lisible. Liqueur has a good clear light amber-yellow color. Level at 10,6cms below base of cork.
